ShanStar™ Concord Grape Extract
ShanStar® Concord Grape is a purified extract of concord grapes, contains high levels of bioflavonoids including 0.84 mg/g resveratrol. This is high when compared to 1 liter of wine which ranges from 0.01 to 8mg per liter depending on the type, year and origin of the wine. All concord grapes used in the manufacturing of ShanStar® Concord Grape are grown in the Great Lakes Region. A patented process selectively extracts the bioflavonoids from the grape juice and skins while leaving behind unwanted sugars and acids. The standard form of the ingredient is a powder consisting of purified concentrate plus a USP grade disintegrant.
